Kerala HC: Persons With Down Syndrome Get Protection and Guardianship under National Trust Act, 1999 - (05 Jun 2026)

Kerala High Court held that persons with Down syndrome fall within the ambit of the National Trust Act, 1999. It was considering a petition by a father whose request for guardianship of his daughter with Down syndrome had been rejected by the District Collector.
