Supreme Court: High Courts Must Record the Nature of Crime and Allegations While Quashing FIRs - (02 Jun 2026)

Supreme Court advised High Courts to include details of FIR contents and the nature of allegations in orders, so that the Supreme Court can better assess whether proper application of mind was made while deciding FIR quashing petitions.
