Supreme Court Unveiled Victim Protection Plan For Trafficking Survivors and Urged Legal Reforms - (01 Jun 2026)

HUMAN RIGHTS

In a landmark ruling on human trafficking for commercial sexual exploitation, the Supreme Court introduced a comprehensive Victim Protection Plan and directed all States and Union Territories to adopt measures ensuring the protection, rehabilitation, and reintegration of trafficking survivors.
