Supreme Court: Initial Appointment Against Unsanctioned Post No Bar to Regularisation - (25 May 2026)

SERVICE

SC held that employees who have served continuously for decades in regular government functions cannot be denied consideration for regularisation merely because their initial appointments were temporary or not made against sanctioned posts.
