SC: Repeated Anticipatory Bail Pleas Abuse Process and Reduce Litigation to a Gamble - (20 May 2026)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court disapproved the repeated filing of anticipatory bail pleas within short intervals, saying the remedy meant to protect personal liberty cannot be misused or turned into a matter of chance and speculation.
