Kerala High Court: Unsigned FIS is Admissible if Informant Confirms its Contents in Court - (20 May 2026)

CRIMINAL

Kerala High Court recently ruled that an informant’s failure to sign the First Information Statement (FIS) does not render it inadmissible as evidence, provided the informant later testifies in court consistently with the contents of the initial statement given as first information.
