Allahabad High Court: Disposing Non-Veg Food in Ganga May Hurt Hindu Religious Sentiments - (18 May 2026)

Allahabad High Court has granted bail to eight Muslim men accused of organizing an Iftar party on a boat in the Ganga at Varanasi, allegedly consuming non-vegetarian food and disposing of the leftover waste into the river.
