Supreme Court: Transferred Students Cannot Claim Government Fees After College Loses Recognition - (15 May 2026)

EDUCATION

Supreme Court held that students transferred from Sardar Rajas Medical College and Hospital, Odisha, to private medical colleges after SRMCH lost recognition cannot claim subsidised government college fees, and allowed recovery of outstanding dues at the fee rates applicable at SRMCH.
