Supreme Court: Delay in Deposit Does Not Automatically Cancel Contracts under Specific Relief Act - (11 May 2026)

Supreme Court held that courts can extend the time for payment in specific performance decrees even after the stipulated period expires, and that contracts are not automatically rescinded under Section 28 of the Specific Relief Act.
