Allahabad HC: MPs, Judges and Ministers May Use ‘Hon’ble’; Civil Servants are Not Entitled to it - (05 May 2026)

Allahabad High Court held that constitutional functionaries exercising sovereign powers must be addressed as “Hon’ble” in all official communications, and personal familiarity or grievance cannot justify omitting the honorific while referring to such authorities.
