Delhi HC Orders Rs 3 Lakh Compensation to Boy Sexually Assaulted in School - (25 Jul 2016)

Delhi HC has awarded Rs 3 lakh as compensation to a minor boy who was sexually assaulted in school by 3 senior students in 2013, observing that provisions of Criminal Procedure Code and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act gave powers to courts to award compensation as required.
