MP HC: Attachment & Auction are Quasi-Judicial Duties of Tehsildar; Action Invalid Without Mala Fide - (05 May 2026)

Madhya Pradesh High Court held that a tehsildar’s actions of property attachment and auction for recovery of dues are quasi-judicial in nature and cannot be subjected to disciplinary proceedings unless malafide intent is specifically alleged and proved.
