SC: Medical Negligence Claims Can be Filed Against Deceased Doctor’s Legal Heirs Who Inherit Estate - (05 May 2026)

Supreme Court held that medical negligence compensation claims can be pursued against a deceased doctor’s legal heirs from the estate, as financial liabilities survive death, though claims for personal injury or suffering do not continue after the person’s demise.
