Calling the Situation Grim, the Supreme Court Takes Suo Motu Cognizance of Delays in NCLT Approvals - (30 Apr 2026)

INSOLVENCY

Supreme Court took suo motu cognizance of systemic delays in approving resolution plans by the National Company Law Tribunal, especially at its Principal Bench in New Delhi, and also noted the shortage of judicial and technical members across its benches.
