MP HC: Long-Serving Employees Cannot Be Denied Regularisation by Retrospective Statutory Amendments - (29 Apr 2026)

Madhya Pradesh High Court has held that statutory amendments cannot be applied retrospectively to deprive an employee of accrued rights, especially where the employee has been in continuous service for decades, and such retroactive application would unjustly defeat those established entitlements.
