J&K&L HC: Preventive Detention U/S 129 BNSS During Proceedings Must Satisfy Strict Legal Standards - (28 Apr 2026)

CRIMINAL

Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court held that preventive detention under the Public Safety Act can continue even during proceedings under Section 129 BNSS, 2023, but only if strict legal standards are met; otherwise, such detention would be unlawful.
