Gujarat HC: Firing in Air at a Wedding Without Intent to Harm Does Not Amount to Attempt to Murder - (28 Apr 2026)

Gujarat High Court held that firing in the air during a wedding without intent to injure does not constitute attempt to murder under Section 307 IPC. It quashed charges against six accused, finding no intention to cause harm or supporting circumstances indicating such intent.
