Supreme Court: Unsuccessful Party Can Invoke Section 9 of the Arbitration Act Even After an Award - (27 Apr 2026)
ARBITRATION
Supreme Court held that an unsuccessful party in arbitration may still invoke Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 even after an award is passed, but cautioned that courts must exercise care, caution, and circumspection while deciding such post-award applications.
