Karnataka High Court: Accused Cannot be Required to Share Live GPS Location as a Condition of Bail - (27 Apr 2026)

CRIMINAL

Karnataka High Court held that an accused cannot be subjected to continuous electronic surveillance as a bail condition by requiring him to keep his mobile phone live location switched on for the Investigating Officer, and accordingly quashed the sessions court’s bail condition.
