SC: Absence of Independent Witnesses is Not Fatal if Injured Eyewitness Testimony is Sterling - (23 Apr 2026)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court upheld a murder conviction, holding that failure to examine an independent witness is not fatal where the injured eyewitness’s sole testimony is reliable, credible, and consistent, and sufficiently proves the prosecution’s case.
