SC: Civil Court Has No Jurisdiction in Boundary Dispute Between Maharashtra Panchayat & Municipality - (23 Apr 2026)

CIVIL

SC held that civil courts have no jurisdiction to decide disputes over determination of municipal limits, as such issues are governed by statute, upheld the Bombay High Court’s ruling setting aside the District Court’s decision in the dispute between a Municipal Corporation and a village panchayat.
