Bombay High Court: POSH Act Penalises False Complaints by Women But Not Those Who Instigate Them - (23 Apr 2026)

CRIMINAL

Bombay High Court at Goa held that under the POSH Act, 2013, punishment applies to a woman or complainant for filing a false and malicious complaint, but the Act does not provide for penal action against those who instigate her to lodge such a false complaint.
