Supreme Court: Foreign Judgment Unenforceable in India Without Fair Opportunity to Defend - (22 Apr 2026)

Supreme Court held that a foreign judgment delivered through summary proceedings, without granting a meaningful opportunity to defend despite triable issues, cannot be enforced in India under Section 13 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.
