Supreme Court: Man Not Liable For Maintenance if DNA Test Proves He is Not the Child’s Father - (22 Apr 2026)

Supreme Court held that a man cannot be ordered to pay maintenance if a DNA test proves he is not the biological father, even if the child was born during marriage, and upheld the Delhi High Court’s decision dismissing the mother’s appeal seeking maintenance for her daughter.
