Supreme Court: Wife and Her Family Cannot Be Prosecuted For Dowry-Giving Based On Her Complaint - (17 Apr 2026)

Supreme Court held that a woman and her family cannot be proceeded against under the Dowry Prohibition Act for allegedly giving dowry, when such allegations arise solely from their complaint against the dowry takers.
