J&K&L HC: Non-Publication of Sec 4(1) Notice in Gazette and Local Newspapers Vitiates Acquisition - (13 Apr 2026)

LAND ACQUISITION

Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court held that failure to publish a Section 4(1) land acquisition notification in the Government Gazette and in locally circulated newspapers vitiates the acquisition proceedings, as it deprives affected persons of proper notice.
