Punjab & Haryana HC: Denial of Inter-Utility Transfers Without Policy Nexus Violates Article 14 - (13 Apr 2026)

Punjab & Haryana High Court held that denying inter-utility transfers only to lower-ranking officials without any rational nexus to the policy objective is arbitrary and violates Article 14, as such classification between employees lacks justification and serves no stated purpose.
