Gauhati HC: Adult Son Pursuing Studies is Not Entitled to Maintenance under Section 125 CrPC - (08 Apr 2026)

Gauhati High Court held that a son who has reached majority is not entitled to maintenance under Section 125 CrPC solely for pursuing studies, as the law grants maintenance only until majority, except in cases covered under clause (c).
