Supreme Court: Sajjadanashin of a Dargah and Mutawalli of a Waqf are Distinct Roles - (07 Apr 2026)

Supreme Court reiterated that a Sajjadanashin of a dargah and a Mutawalli of a waqf hold distinct roles, clarifying that the Sajjadanashin performs primarily spiritual functions, whereas the Mutawalli is responsible for secular administration and management of waqf property.
