SC Expresses Disappointment as WB Chief Secretary was Unreachable During Judges’ Gherao - (06 Apr 2026)

Supreme Court strongly criticized West Bengal’s administrative response, saying it was extremely disappointed that the Chief Secretary was unreachable to the Calcutta High Court Chief Justice during the judges’ gherao, noting he had not shared a WhatsApp-enabled mobile number.
