SC: Senior Employee Cannot Claim Same Lesser Penalty As Subordinate; Bank Manager's Dismissal Upheld - (03 Apr 2026)

Supreme Court held that a senior officer cannot claim the same lesser punishment as lower-ranking employees and upheld the dismissal of a Punjab & Sind Bank manager who, with a subordinate and a gunman, misappropriated customer funds for personal gain.
