MP HC: Financial Hardship or Mere Allegations of Lawyer’s Negligence Cannot Excuse Delayed Appeal - (02 Apr 2026)

LIMITATION

Madhya Pradesh High Court dismissed a driver’s plea to condone 581-day delay in filing his Motor Vehicles Act appeal, holding that mere financial difficulty and unsupported claims of prior counsel’s negligence do not justify delay under Section 5 of the Limitation Act.
