J&K&L HC: Bail is Not Absolute For Juveniles in Heinous Cases and Can be Denied to Serve Justice - (30 Mar 2026)

CRIMINAL

J&K & Ladakh High Court held that a juvenile cannot claim bail as a right under Section 12 of the Juvenile Justice Act, 2015, and bail may be denied if release would defeat the ends of justice, considering the nature and gravity of the offence.
