Delhi HC: Expired Driving Licenses Do Not Enjoy Deemed Continuity After 2019 MV Act Amendment - (30 Mar 2026)

MOTOR VEHICLES

Delhi High Court clarified that under the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019, expired driving licences have no deemed continuity, and holders are legally disqualified from driving from the day after expiry unless the licence is renewed.
