Delhi HC: Tenant Liable For Possession Through Family; Non-Residence Claim Doesn’t Excuse Liability - (30 Mar 2026)

TENANCY

Delhi High Court held that a tenant remains legally liable even if not personally residing, as occupation by family members constitutes the tenant’s juridical possession of the rented premises.
