SC Says Respect For Higher Court Orders a Basic Principle, Rebukes Authority For Revisiting Order - (27 Mar 2026)

Supreme Court censured a Rent Control Authority in Uttar Pradesh for reopening a tenant eviction case already affirmed by the Court, stressing that respect for higher court orders is fundamental and proceedings that have attained finality cannot be reopened.
