J&K&L High Court: Transfer Guidelines are Not Binding and Cannot Limit an Employer’s Transfer Powers - (25 Mar 2026)

High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh held that employees cannot claim a right to a specific posting based on transfer guidelines, as these administrative instructions lack statutory force and cannot restrict the employer’s authority to make transfers.
