Supreme Court: Parental Salary Alone Cannot Determine OBC Creamy Layer Status - (13 Mar 2026)

Supreme Court held that ‘creamy layer’ status under the OBC reservation category cannot be determined solely on parental income and must also consider the posts and status held by the parents in their respective organisations.
