Gujarat High Court: Power Company Cannot Allege Deceased’s Negligence in Hanging Live Wire Death - (13 Mar 2026)

Gujarat High Court dismissed Paschim Gujarat Vij Co Ltd’s appeal, holding the company cannot claim negligence by a man who died after touching a hanging live wire, as the wires were loose and at a lower height, making the company responsible for the fatal accident.
