Kerala HC: Siblings Cannot Claim Compensation for ‘Loss of Love’ in Motor Accident Death Cases - (05 Mar 2026)

Kerala High Court held that siblings of a deceased accident victim are not entitled to separate compensation for “loss of love and affection” in motor accident claims, and restricted consortium compensation to the mother while partly modifying the MACT award in a 2014 road accident case.
