Supreme Court: Failure to Recover Murder Weapon is Not Fatal if Other Evidence is Credible - (02 Mar 2026)

CRIMINAL

SC upholds murder conviction saying credible & consistent eyewitness evidence suffices even without recovery of weapon. SC observed that "the absence of recovery of weapons of assault would not weaken the case of the prosecution in the presence of other evidence on record that is found reliable.”
