SC: Defunct Scheme under the Companies Act Cannot Stall the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process - (25 Feb 2026)
INSOLVENCY
Supreme Court held that a defunct Companies Act scheme cannot stall CIRP under the IBC, and set aside the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal order that had kept Section 7 proceedings in abeyance merely because the scheme was pending before the High Court.
