Supreme Court: Post-Award Property Purchasers Cannot Resist Execution of an Arbitral Award - (16 Feb 2026)

ARBITRATION

Supreme Court of India reaffirmed that a transferee who purchases property from a judgment-debtor during the pendency of proceedings has no locus standi to resist or object to the execution of a decree passed in favour of the judgment-creditor.
