Supreme Court: Delay In Filing Appeals under Section 74 of 2013 Land Acquisition Act is Condonable - (10 Feb 2026)

LAND ACQUISITION

In a significant ruling, the Supreme Court held that delays in filing appeals under Section 74 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 may be condoned by applying Section 5 of the Limitation Act, 1963.
