Cal HC: Excessive Palm Sweating Alone Cannot Render Candidate Medically Unfit for CAPF Appointment - (06 Feb 2026)

DEFENCE

Calcutta High Court ruled that palmar hyperhidrosis (excessive palm sweating) cannot alone disqualify a candidate from Central Armed Police Forces Constable (G.D.) recruitment. The court noted that authorities did not cite any medical guideline explicitly barring candidates for this condition.
