Delhi HC: Unproven Adultery Allegations Cannot be Used to Deny Interim Maintenance under the DV Act - (05 Feb 2026)

CRIMINAL

Delhi High Court held that unproven adultery allegations cannot bar a wife from interim maintenance under the Domestic Violence Act, noting that unlike Cr.P.C. Section 125(4), the DV Act has no provision denying reliefs solely on such allegations.
