SC: State Cannot Deny Regularisation to Long-Serving Contract Staff Appointed Through Due Process - (02 Feb 2026)

SERVICE

Supreme Court held that the State, as a model employer, cannot refuse regularisation to contract workers appointed through due process, and those given repeated yearly extensions can claim regularisation under the doctrine of legitimate expectation.
