MP HC: Decree Holder Cannot Defeat Compromise or Initiate Execution by Refusing Debtor’s Cheque - (30 Jan 2026)

Madhya Pradesh High Court held that a decree holder cannot frustrate a compromise decree or initiate execution proceedings by refusing to accept or encash a cheque lawfully tendered by the judgment debtor in full satisfaction of the decree.
