Delhi High Court: Recruitment Notice Error Creates No Appointment Right Without Vacancy - (22 Jan 2026)

Delhi High Court set aside a CAT order directing appointment based on an erroneous recruitment advertisement, holding that a mistake in the notification cannot confer a vested right to appointment when no actual vacancy existed for the reserved category.
