Supreme Court: Subordinate Legislation Takes Effect Only From its Publication in The Official Gazette - (22 Jan 2026)

CIVIL

Supreme Court ruled that subordinate legislation becomes binding only upon its publication in the Official Gazette, clarifying that it is the date of Gazette publication, and not merely the date of issuance of the notification, that gives such legislation legal effect.
